Program Director
Program planning and implementation,
supervision and evaluation of summer staff, marketing, assisting
with fundraising and grant writing, and implementing staff
training. This position is full time during summer months with
part time off season work available. Position includes weekly
salary, room and board, meals, laundry facilities, and off duty
recreational opportunities. Must live at camp Monday – Friday
during camp season.
Assistant Program Director
Assist the program director with
planning and implementation of weekly camp activities. Assist
with staff training. Position includes weekly salary, room &
board, meals, laundry facilities, professional training, and off
duty recreational opportunities. Must live at camp during camp
season. May 7th, 2010 – August 13th, 2010.
Food Service Director
Supervise & evaluate food service
staff, prepare weekly menus & order all needed food, prepare and
serve meals, assist in monitoring a food service budget, and
understand & insure all health/safety regulations are followed.
Must be ServSafe Certified or able to become certified. Previous
food service experience helpful.
Camp Winnebago has an
opening for a Registered Nurse for the 2010 Summer Camp Season.
The position would be Monday through Friday from June through
mid-August. The nurse would need to live on campus Monday
through Friday during camp sessions. The nurse is in charge of
all camper medications, care of campers and staff, and the
supervision of TMA’s. Salary is negotiable. Position includes
private living quarters, all meals and snacks, laundry
facilities, internet access, off duty recreational opportunities
and more.

Camp Winnebago has summer seasonal openings
for:
Cabin Leaders:
Duties include planning and organizing activities and all
aspects of camper care in your assigned cabin. Assist with
motivating and supervising counselors.
Counselors: Duties include the
direct personal care and welfare of all assigned campers,
participate in all activities with assigned campers, and assist
in planning and implementing special events.
Nature Leader: Duties include
planning and leading a variety of outdoor nature activities for
campers with varying abilities. Maintaining nature equipment.
Ordering needed supplies. Assisting counselors and cabin
leaders as needed.
Sports & Games Leader: Duties
include planning and leading activities to give campers exercise
and develop skills through adaptive games and recreational
activities. Maintaining sports and games equipment. Ordering
needed supplies. Assisting counselors and cabin leaders as
needed.
Aquatics Leader: Must have
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification. Duties
include instructing campers in aquatic/pool activities and
responsible for safety during all water activities, cleaning
pool, testing water, and keeping accurate records. Maintaining
aquatic equipment. Ordering needed supplies. Assisting
counselors and cabin leaders as needed.
Music & Drama Leader: Duties
include planning and carrying out musical and dramatic
activities that stimulate campers. Plan and lead songs at meals
and other times. Plan performing arts events/activities, awards
programs, etc. Maintaining music and drama equipment. Ordering
needed supplies. Assisting counselors and cabin leaders as
needed.
Art & Crafts Leader: Duties
include planning and implementing arts and crafts projects to
give campers a sense of accomplishment and creativity. Maintain
arts and crafts equipment. Order needed supplies. Assisting
counselors and cabin leaders as needed.
TMA’s: Our Trained Medication
Administers, under the supervision of our Registered Nurse,
provide medication to campers throughout the week. They also
assist the nurse with other day and evening duties.
Food Service Staff: Works under
supervision of Food Service Director. Duties include preparing
meals and snacks, washing dishes, cleaning kitchen and dining
hall, and other daily duties.
Housekeeping/Maintenance Staff:
Works under supervision of Head Maintenance. Duties include
laundry, cleaning cabins and dorms, grounds keeping duties, and
other daily duties.
All positions include weekly or hourly
salaries, room and board, meals and refreshments, laundry
facilities, professional inservice and training, internet
access, off duty recreational opportunities, and more! All
positions except food service and maintenance/housekeeping staff
must live on campus during camp sessions.
